CDL Class A Lowboy Driver | $35-$40/hour based on experience | Farmingdale, NJ

Asphalt Restoration Enterprises, LLC is looking for an experienced CDL Class A Lowboy Driver to safely transport heavy equipment, machinery, and oversized loads to construction and paving sites throughout the area.

This is a great opportunity for a dependable driver who understands heavy equipment transportation, load securement, and the importance of working safely while keeping projects on schedule.

The Role

You’ll operate a lowboy trailer to transport paving and construction equipment between job sites, ensuring every load is properly secured and delivered safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment safely
• Operate a lowboy trailer while following DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers
• Plan routes while considering traffic, weight restrictions, and low clearance areas
• Assist with oversized load permitting when required
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and job site teams to coordinate schedules

The Person

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused driver with experience transporting heavy equipment.

You’ll need:

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Previous lowboy, heavy haul, or construction transportation experience preferred
• Experience safely loading and securing heavy equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overnight shifts
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
